Or would a lot more people online have voted on the side of it being just another stereotypically macho _“coffe’s for closers”/“if I have to short-dick every cannibal in the Congo”_ attempt at motivation, rolled their eyes and moved on? ---

I think not) of Sorority Drama Queen’s “FUCKING SUCK” line. (Not to mention “cock block”.) What if that same letter, verbatim, had been sent from the male Social Director Drama King of the partner fraternity, addressed to everyone in the sorority? I daresay we’d be having a very different conversation about _that_.
