I base this claim on the frequency of Cleveland / Northeast Ohio dopefests, and the concentration of mods in the area. Agree? If you beg to differ, then what place do you think has a better claim, and why? **PS** Mods, if this belongs in IMHO, please feel free to move it… ---

:bump: I bump because I am interested in this thread. Also, there seem to be many Baltimore/Washington, DC Dopers, including yours truly, but not as many as Cleveland or Chicago. ---

[/QUOTE] There are a lot of MADs, but we don’t seem to socialize as much lately. Or maybe I’ve quit looking at such threads since I live in the boonies, and most venues are at least 90 minutes away. Last gathering I attended was over 2 hours away. But it was close to my mom’s so I combined Doping with quality Mom-time. Much as I’d love to host a Dopefest at my place, I figure the attendance would be pitiful. So I live my life in solitude among the Amish of St. Mary’s county… How pathetic does that sound?? 😛 ---
