Being a man is a wholly separate issue from one’s sexual orientation, so saying “it would make a man out of you” isn’t some kind of heterophobic joke. I’m no less a man because I’m gay, and neither is **Ace** any less a man because he’s straight. First off, there are a whole lot of hypersensitive people in this thread who are flying off the handle, some with freakin’ jet backs strapped to their backs. I ain’t one of them. Now, I’m sure there isn’t a single one of us who has not thought “what in the hell gave this guy the idea that I want to suck his dick?!” at least once in their life.[sup]\*[/sup] So everyone who is all up in arms about **Ace’s** rant, telling him he should be _glad_ someone found him attractive should remember how he or she felt when someone the found sexually undesirable put the aggressive move on them and see if their reaction to his rant isn’t an _over_reaction. The thing that got **Ace’s** sword all bent out of shape looks to me to be the fact that a guy would think that manly man Ace would want to suck his dick. So _he_ overreacted to the midnight booty call. Everybody needs to check themselves and take a look at their own motivations. [sup]\*[/sup]There is a reason for this universal phenomenon. I think it’s because guys really, really, REALLY like to get their dicks sucked. So much so that they will risk a gay-bashing, their health, their marriage, arrest, disease, humiliation, big wads of cash, military court-martial, their jobs and most anything they hold precious if they think they will get a blow job out of it. **Ace** , I find it really hard to refrain from judging you. Like was pointed out to **lazywhatever** just above, all we have to go on is what you see fit to post. No, I don’t think you were wrong in being annoyed. I also think you seem to have a very major problem in dealing with the ideas that there are men with same-sex attraction out there, and that one of them – horrors!! – might find you attractive. And that your reaction to a comely young woman calling with a similar come-on proposition at the same time might have been significantly different – “Man, did I miss a golden opportunity last night! After midnight, and this cute young blonde I’d met a couple of months ago called up, and sounded like she was ready to get it on! I was dead tired, and put her off – and now I’m regretting it.” If I’m wrong on that diagnosis, I haven’t seen any evidence to the contrary. You may have ten gay friends who think you’re one of the coolest straight guys they know, but if so, you’re showing them a quite different side of your personality than the one you’ve shown here – which seems to be thinly disguised contempt for all gay men who are out and posting on this board. As for **Esprix** ’s remark, it was a bit over the top, but I had no problem in seeing the sarcasm in it. I certainly don’t think it was worth pitting him about – and as noted over in that thread already, structuring your sentences so that calling him gay is parallel to two terms of contempt says a whole lot more about you than it does about him. It would be nice if you proved me wrong in my hypotheses about you above. But I have a really strong suspicion that you won’t – that you’ll react in anger. ---
