Hold on, let’s not be hasty. Perhaps he made a similar proclamation when Dubya was elected, saying how no one could accept Communion until they repented for voting for a death penalty advocate. [sub]But somehow I doubt it…[/sub] ---

Yet another clergyman has his head stuck up his ass. Yawn. Oh, and for the record, he’s completely fucking wrong. Catholics are only prohibited from voting for pro-choice candidates if they vote for that candidate _because_ of his/her position on abortion. ---

How did I know it was going to be Greenville? And that it was going to be St. Mary’s? Jeez. What’s really scary is that there is a school attached. That almost all the kids I went to High School with went to. One of the many reasons high school sucked for me. ---

I must have missed the speech in which Obama mandated that every pregnancy in America be aborted. Hmm. I have to say that _is_ pretty radical. However, may I suggest we start with the bible thumpers? ---

Then I guess my father should quit his position as an usher AND a Eucharistic minister-since he not only voted for Obama, but he’s been a registered Democrat since the time he was eligible to vote. AND I don’t think he’s voted for a Republican for president-meaning he’s ALWAYS voted for pro-choice candidates. Ooops, guess he’s not so devout as they thought! (Apparently, though, supporting governments that encourage those who murder [archbishops](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Romero) is all right.) I am so fucking STEAMED. ---

As far as I can tell, all of President-elect Obama’s positions are moderately liberal. Why do I keep hearing this nonsense about him being “the most liberal member of Congress”? I wish he were. A number of bishops publically supported Obama; is the pastor going to ream them one? Kinda doubt it. ---
