Good God that was a funny episode tonight! It is not my favorite (Big Gay Al, Cartman Gets An Anal Probe) but it is definitely a top 5, most likely Top 3. I felt so bad for Butters… poor little Professor Chaos got a boo-boo! 😃 MeanJoe ---

I thought the msg was bullshit, but overall it’s one of the best SP’s in a while. I didn’t need to see a little boy urinated and defecated on to be entertained, however. That was disgusting without being funny or shocking. ---

I bet they’ll get more phone cards about the 5 seconds we got of Cartman’s obscured penis than the twenty minutes of Butters with a ninja star in his eye. The USA goes freaking insane over sex on television. Bah! ---

The song was great. Very funny episode, despite what happened to poor Butters. He is likely to have an eye patch or glass eye from now on given that South Park has a fair deal of continuity (I believe they still don’t say shit due to the curse word episode). Also I think they are right about the sex issue. The fact that Butters got a ninja star in the eye is par for the course on TV. Cartman being shown in the buff pretending to be invisible isn’t. ---

My girlfriend and I went from, “this is the best show they’ve done in ages,” (the whole anime/reality back and forth) to “oh God!” (the realization, still in anime mode, that Butters really did take it in the eye, to “This is bad,” (the pile-on suffering of Butters, culminating in the dog pound scene, to “OK, it’s getting good again,” and laughing or collective asses off (at Cartman thinking he was invisible and sidling across the stage in the buff), to “they sure have a lot of town meetings,” with the wrap up/ lame “message” of the show, and finally, “what happened to Butters?” ---

**Skutir** , the overkill with Butters is part of the point. People really will react more to the Cartman wee wee shot than they will to a child being tortured and degraded. It’s kind of a built in defense to the inevitable outcry. They made it impossible for anyone to whine about the nudity (such as it was) without looking like a fool. ---

Yah, great episode! I loved how they kept mentioning Mel’s (extremely violent but universally beloved) Jesus movie. The same parents who always complain about violence are the same ones dragging their kids to see this movie. Just a fantastic episode. ---

I am sick. Laughing makes me cough. Coughing makes my heard hurt like hell. I was in so much pain. I totally agree, definately one of their best and most shocking episodes they’ve done. They totally blindsided me with the nature of Butters’ wound and the switch at the end. Great start to the season. ---

Wow! Just when I thought the show might be past its prime… That was one of the best ever. I almost passed out laughing at the “protect my balls” line. The anime parody was absolutely first-rate. ---
