Hayes recently appeared in a dream sequence on That 70s Show. The actors who play Hyde and Donna are both in the CoS. ---

I don’t know if it was intentional, a big bridge leading to the fruity little club works as another little dig, too. [The Bridge](http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/8075/bridge11mn.jpg) is a pretty central idea in Scientology. Nancy Cartwright, voiceover artist, most famous as the voice of Bart Simpson Isaac Hayes, musician, actor, and (formerly) voiceover artist (“Chef (South Park character)”) Jason Lee, actor and professional skateboarder Danny Masterson, actor Bernadette Peters, actress and singer (source: Bergen Record 3/10/1985, may be an ex-member) Giovanni Ribisi, actor Ethan Suplee, actor Edgar Winter, musician Just wonder how all these people were taken in. I have a friend who is a movie/TV star and though he’s very well balanced and cool and would probably never fall for anything like this, it creeps me out that he could be somehow seduced by the Dark Side. Come to think of it, he’s guest-starred on That 70’s Show before…eep! ---

I found this episode pretty funny, but I have to agree, the whole thing is pretty sad. And I thought it was just plain mean-spirited to have Chef die at the end, especially in such a hideous way – my daughter was almost in tears, saying “I don’t WANT Chef to be dead!” Which is why I was glad he was brought back to life as Darth Chef. Though I doubt we’ll ever see him again, at least we know Chef isn’t _really_ dead. ---
