They definitely gave Bush a double-digit IQ, though. If it had been Gore they’d have made him boring instead of stupid. ---

Does no one remember when he won a million dollars and had his dreams riped away from him? Classic! His character is the perfect portrayal of an asshole 5th grader. They are out there. Selfish, materialistic little piece of shit who don’t care about anyone else except for themselves. And he’s wonderful at it. It’s just so great! Ms. Choksondik: Kyle, if you want to succeed in my class, you’re going to need to learn how to concentrate, concentration is the key to… Cartman: Maybe we should send him to a concentration camp. Oh! Dammit, dammit, dammit! ---

[/QUOTE] I think you mean forth grader 😉 But Kyle’s sidestory in that episode is what makes it really great. The relationship with him and Kyle can get really interesting. Cartman hates Kyle for being Jewish, and Kyle hates Cartman for being an asshole, yet they still hang out together. One of my favourite endings is when Stan tells him to apologize to Kyle. Cartman: Alright. Kyle–(cue end credits) And lets not forget when he saves Kyle from a perfect storm of smug. ---

Or when he hugs Kyle and says “Thank you!” when Kyle (unknowingly) prevented his Tourette’s-like disorder to be broadcasted in national television. Man, I love that episode… and the ending… “Aw, shit!” by both Kyle and the kid with Tourette’s (who does says swear words as part of his disorder). I admit it took me years to figure out the play on Mrs. Choskondik’s name. But I think the boy with the most fucked up history and future is Butters. Even more than Cartman. ---

I don’t know why But Butters is my favorite character on that show. I mean I really like the kid. He is such a good kid. He doesn’t do anything special or great but he’s so darned likable which makes his little revelations about his life (like that uncle who…) even funnier. Why is he so darned likable!!! ---

[/QUOTE] I think it’s because his role on the show is to always be the victim but he’s so good natured about it. You can’t help but feel sympathy for him. ---

Another one that I liked was in the “Les Bos” episode (which not-very-funnily spoofed _300_). Mrs. Garrison leads a groups of lesbians to the mayor’s office to protest the takover of their bar by Persians, and all the mayor can do is look at him and say, “you’re a lesbian now?” ---
