# South Park: Problem with Transgendered?

Has anyone recently outright asked Parker and Stone whether their opinions on the environment or trans people or whatever has changed in the past X years?

How is this term “Trans people” supposed to differentiate between transgendered and transvestites?

“Transvestite” is also not a preferred term, and while a few people still identify with it, it’s largely been replaced by “cross dresser” or “drag queen/king” (which aren’t quite the same thing).

Cross dressers are sometimes included under the “transgender” (no “ed”) umbrella, but that’s contentious in the community and a whole 'nother kettle of fish.
