Born in Alabama. Have lived in New Orleans, Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. In-laws are native New-Yorkers who have lived in the south for about 15 years now. We currently live in Florida. I desperately hope to be residing in Iceland within 10 years. ---

Atlanta is a very southern city. ---

I was born in Birmingham, but have been truly blessed by the Almighty in that I have had the opportunity… nay the privilege to have lived most of my life in that Mecca of higher learning… that utopian example of the zenith of human civilization… the center of the known universe… Verbena, Alabama. ---

Even though I hated the collegiate culture, I couldn’t help but grin when driving past a well-rolled Toomer’s Corner on a Monday morning (though I felt badly for the poor guys doing the clean-up with the pressure hoses…) I miss Auburn intensely, even though I no longer have RV’s fucking up my Thursday night Astronomy labs nor trapping me in my student trailer park for hours on end during the weekend … ---
