If they had the plate number **JFK 22** they’d totally deserve an Oscar for their performance. Or whatever’s the correct name for the Best-SovCit-of-the-Year award. I propose the Doofus. Assuming I remembered the numbers right. ---

Heck, if I were in a position of authority in another country, I’d cash in on “identification” to cash in on these idiots. Why not? As long as I put in the right disclaimers, they can say they’re “citizens” of Rhombonia all they like, providing the checks clear. And no cop would dare pull over a Latverian without good cause. You do not want Dr. Doom showing up at your embassy. ---

I’ve wondered why this lawyer would do this, as it was clear from the outset that the bullshit she was peddling would clearly lead to bad consequences for her. From the article, it appears that she had a mental breakdown during covid and turned to one of these scammers who prey on people with their soverign citizen “courses” I imagine she paid them good money to fill her head with crap. She’s been suspended, and will soon lose her ability to practice law; a clear and obvious consequence of her actions. It’s sad. In a previous time, she would not have had such easy access to the scammers, and would possibly have gotten help from her community to get through whatever rough mental patch she was going through. The sovereign citizen “give us your money” scum are responsible for a lot of agony. I see the judge in this case used the Meads decision. Judge Meads should be proud of the help he’s given to the legal community. ---

About a year ago, someone joined this board _very_ briefly. A quick google search shows an interview with a morgage broker on the advantages of having a real estate lawyer. [The video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1baqJHn6K0) is from six years ago, and she seemed quite reasonable then (in the first 30 seconds I watched). The YouTube channel has 36 subscribers and most of videos have a dozen views, plus or minus a few. This one has over a thousand, with the latest viewer comments: “this will become this channel’s most viewed video” “Somewhere between this video and now Naomi took a sip of the crazy juice.” “You should consider taking this video down given current circumstances with your guest.” ---
