I’ve seen countless videos where they express that openly to police, or even in court, without an immediate smackdown.
More like they believe that the secret, real laws happen to be on their side. Put that way, SovCits sound almost like a modern variation of occultism: that like Rosicrucians or like Neo hacking the Matrix, they have access to the special secret knowledge that allows them to transcend mundane limitations. You have only to throw in the belief that the reptile aliens secretly running everything can be blackmailed into ordering all charges against a SovCit dropped to be complete.
Right. They believe that lawyers, judges and police will obey them if they say the magic words. It’s attempted witchcraft
And so, when it doesn’t work, they holler for a supervisor because they figure this here rookie cop simply needs a good talking-to from someone who Knows The Truth all in capitals just like that?

This band of yahoos have been uninvited guests in this town (has it really neen two years?) long enough. Complaints of harrassment and bullying of locals and town officials a plenty but I assume nothing that the RCMP could actually use to remove them.
No charges yet but 17 arrests? I am not sure how possession of four replica firearms would be enough to justify this, there has to be more.
I despise these arrogant idiots, so I really hope the RCMP know what they are doing here.

I was just going to post that article. I like this part:
During her appearance, Didulo repeatedly told Judge Alan Jacobson that she did not consent to her arrest and that her case should be dismissed.
Jacobson was visibly annoyed as he instructed Didulo to not interrupt him.
Didulo was ultimately remanded into custody until a bail hearing on Monday.
Didulo said she plans to represent herself.
Her cult has apparently evolved into a full-fledged sovereign citizen movement, but with some of its own quirks (like having a Queen). Hence the “I do not consent to being arrested”, prompting the judge to tell Her Majesty to shut up.
