I feel sorry for them sometimes. I have to remind myself that even the SCs that come across as “harmless” idiots are still willing to put everyone else’s lives and well-being at risk by driving without a license, insurance etc.
They are also leeches on society. They are fine with letting us sheep pay for their services and societal benefits. But damn if they’re willing to contribute.
Hey, we have the same God! She’s so understanding…
(As proof, our church has coffee and Kringle most Sundays)
That is $500,000 bond.
Another reason to not target judges.
Apocryphal sentencing story:
A judge tells a Bernie Madoff-type that his prison sentence is 80 years.
The defendant says, “Your Honor, I’m 72 years old. I’ll never be able to serve a sentence that long.”
The judge smiles at him and says, “Well, just do your best.”
The other day I ran across a YouTube video about someone dealing with the decades-long consequences of being mistakenly declared dead by the Social Security Administration. This led me to look up the subject of “John Doe” prisoners. Apparently even if the government has no idea who you are, if all they know is that they have a living body under arrest, they can brand you Prisoner #xxxxxx, try, convict and incarcerate you. If the government can do that, than claiming you’re an “actual person” instead of a legal persona just isn’t going to help.
