Dunno… while using “k” more is something I’d like to see, the change you propose alters how my favorite curse word would look like… And that is something near and dear to me! 
It’s worse for me, getting rid of the C changes my name! And I hate people who (mis)spell it with a K, but I’ll be grandfathered in, so I get to keep the C.
Wait… I understand people misspelling my name with a C… how come they misspell yours with a K?
