i remember a few years ago, there was a place on these message boards where certain exceptionally funny, clever, etc., things were posted. I used to go to them but I forgot about them and just thought of it. I remember there was one that cracked me up about a guy berating a woman for defending her telemarketer empoloyers, and one about a guy who was crazy about Turtle Tracks ice cream. Do these posts still exist? Am I not remembering this correctly? Thanks ---

There’s no particular forum, but a number of threads in the past have compiled the “Funniest Threads in SDMB History” and such. One of the threads you are looking for is [The telemarketer speaks - I respond](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=51270), a BBQ Pit Classic by Cervaise. If that’s the one that used to be at [teemings.com](http://teemings.com) or .org/extras, I was just there (because I’ve been perusing old threads) and it doesn’t exist. Not sure about threadspotting, though. If you’re looking for good ones, search for people like Master Wang-ka, Dante, Sampiro, and whoever wrote the one about standing in line with the King of the Universe. ---

Just don’t do it TOO frequently, as it tends to bog down the server. ---
