Anyone have any suggestions? I am looking for free clipart to use as a t-shirt design/brochure logo for 6-14 year old girls (girlscouts to be exact). This year’s theme is music and I am looking for something girly, cute and whimsical, perhaps including dancing animals or some such thing. I have spent HOURS looking for something and can’t find anything decent. Anyone have some favorite sites or specific designs?

Thanks.

How are you searching; if you are visiting clipart sites (many of which seem to consist of nothing more than links to sites full of links to sites full… etc), then it can be very frustrating; I tend to use Google’s image search, using ‘clipart’ and one other relevant word (‘animal’ or ‘cartoon’ etc )

I use arttoday dot com. I think they have a week trial membership for $7.95. There’s a lot of good stuff there and much of it is vector based, making it a lot more useful. May be overkill for your purposes, but it’s all royalty-free. If you find something on the net without specific disclaimers it is unlikely to be royalty-free. For noncommercial use you should be OK, but be aware.

Go to office max or some such and buy the 100,000 Clip Art CD. It isn’t too expensive and there’s a good chance you’ll be doing such projects again.
