My wife is interested in text to speech and voice to text software.
Educate me please.

Is Dragon still the go to software for transcribing voice to text?

What are the best options for software that will read a document to me? It’s my understanding that Windows 7(/8?) includes text to speech software. Has anyone used it? What did you think of it?

What options, if any, are there to read text documents to speech in my car? I realize that the iPhone Sure does this, but I can’t see that being usable, what with having to highlight text and all.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and opinions.

Thanks.

Wow. Nothing? I’m going to give this one bump and then let it die a slow death.

I thought there would be quite a few people who use Dragon type software.
