When it comes to speeding tickets, or moving violations in general, does the amount of the fine change for a given violation at the end of the month versus the beginning of the month?

In other words, if the “unofficial, really doesnt exist” quota was not met that month, do they jack up the amount of the fine at the end of the month?

Back when there were “kangaroo courts” the amount could change case to case, depending on lots of factors like “Take that gum otta yore mouth, sonny.”

[ul]😃 [sup]Of course, if the Justice of the Peace was female, there could also have been a monthly change as well.[/sup][/ul]

Could depend on the jurisdiction. :dubious:

In Michigan speeding ticket fines are regulated by state law, regardless of the jurisdiction writing the ticket.
