Why does “albedo” always throw a spell-check error? Is that the wrong spelting because it seems that’s the one everybody else uses. [whimper] … what am I doing wrong ??? ---

just in case you didn’t know, the spell check is provided by whatever you use to post to the site, not the site itself. I know the spelling dictionary in Firefox is often missing words that I would expect it to know. Quesadilla was one of them. ---

Spelting and auto carrots aren’t done by the SDMB. [Spelt](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt) always looks to me like it’s spelled wrong. Although you can spell spelled as [spelt.](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/spelt#English) ---

You’d be surprised. It’s my favorite word when referring to racial characteristics. Less emotional baggage. ---

You may not believe this but I cannot find the spell-checker in Firefox, didn’t it used to be in the File menu? Save the typing, I’m absolutely sure I don’t want to know. Better to be able to blame Firefox for all my misspeltening. ---
