# Spicy Soda

Have you ever eaten something very spicy, and then drinking some soda pop? Yuk! Is there anyone out there who actually likes that. While we’re on the subject, have you ever eaten something spicy and then ate a Hershey Kiss? That is really weird. Lastly, while I was at the movie theater, I had some extremely buttery popcorn in my mouth, and drank some Wild Cherry Pepsi, and about 5 seconds later I had a very strong aftertaste of Cappuccino in my mouth. Has anyone else had something like that happen to them. Or just any combination of foods that leads to a strange taste.

This doesn’t match the OP, but it does deal with “spicy soda”.

I used to like to drink [Brainwash, Fukola Cola, From Dusk Til Dawn, Rat Bastard Root Beer, Black Lemonade, Brainalizer, and Love Potion No. 69](http://www.bevnet.com/reviews/skel/). Haven’t tried the others.

Some of those have jalapeño in them. Very tasty. Unfortunately they are not available everywhere, and I have no idea where to get them unless I can find a place in Seattle (which would require a long drive).

Well, my experience is, if I eat something really spicy, then drink a sweet tasting soda, like Perpetual Torment, er, I mean Mountain Dew, it just tastes much, much sweeter.

Also, I have been known to put some crushed red chilis into a batch of brownies on occasion. Something about the spicy hotness of the red chilis meshes just perfectly with the chocolate, especially if you add a bit of cinnamon to bring it together…
