> I have seen the MCU films multiple time, and I saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 5 times in the theater. What’s with the black suit near the end of the trailer. Didn’t Miles Morales wear a black suit at the end of Spider-Verse? Why would Peter Parker suddenly switch to a black suit? Could that be Miles?

I’ve heard it called “stealth suit”, I think its just Peter trying to be sneaky.

Just re-watched [the original trailer](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUFmhKpZKlE). They must have shot a lot of scenes just for that. He’s not in the Iron Spider suit, Fury’s lines are different.

I preferred the suit in Homecoming. It seems more Spiderman rather than alternate spidery Iron Man. But I can see why Peter would like the more powerful suit.

It looks to me like he has the Iron Spider suit in the US, but only takes his regular suit with him to Europe.

On re-watch I think you’re right.

> Every single review of the trailer I have seen has been analysed by comics geeks and they all have said Mysterio is a liar, a special effects guy, and not to be trusted. This either ruins a twist, or, more likely, Marvel knew that what would be talked about, and have decided not to go in that direction with him. Opening up the multiverse means not just new characters coming in, but doubles can be in play, like Nebula in _EndGame_. And there are more possible ways it could go than just that. I doubt Mysterio will be quite as the comic books portray him.

I can think of one point five examples indicating that being an antagonist in the original comics might not translate to being one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (spoilered if you want to guess):

Full point for the Skrulls (_Captain Marvel_); half-point for Mordo (_Doctor Strange_) who was an ally in that movie but is shaping up to become an antagonist in the sequel.

Another half-point for:

M’Baku, who’s the villain Man-Ape in the comics. M’Baku challenges Black Panther early in the movie, but later turns out to be an ally.
