Am I the only one that doesn’t think this is a good thing? 1. The kid could have been seriously hurt while the fireman was looking for and changing into a Spider man costume. Unless he just happened to have one on him, which raises other disturbing questions. 2. Other kids could deliberately put themselves into danger thinking “Spidey” will rescue them. 3. Child predators could begin wearing superhero costumes to lure kids. 4. Kid could be confused into thinking Spider Man is real, leading to an inability to know if ANYTHING is real, culminating in a serial killing spree that shocks the entire world and leaves dozens dead. ---

Oh, yeah, I guess it would have been better to let the kid plunge than risk the ramifications of dressing up as Spider-Man. :rolleyes: I do wonder if Spider-Man costumes are standard equipment at fire stations here, but nothing would surprise me. ---
