Well, not exactly…Guest, McKean and Shearer will be performing as themselves. They’re headed out next month on the “Unwigged & Unplugged” tour, playing both Tap and Folksmen tunes. OK, I see that the concert was just announced yesterday, so there have been no announcements at the SB County Bowl. I’ll keep an eye out, but I may be it NYC that weekend. That said, I really want to see this concert. ---

Fuck me! Spinal Tap cancelled at the Santa Barbara County Bowl! I was unsure of when tickets went on sale. It turned out that they went on sale on the first Saturday, two days after they were first advertised in the local free weekly rag. I showed up on Monday, hoping to get a shitty ticket anywhere, and lo and behold, I was able to get seats on the aisle near the center of the closest section to the stage. It was odd that I could get such great tickets well after tickets went on sale. I knew it was to good to be true and those rat bastards cancelled. Grrrr! ---
