The Practice which was a drama spun off Boston Legal which was more of a comedy-drama. ---

The comedy/adventure cartoon _Inspector Gadget_ had a spin-off factual travel show-_Inspector Gadget’s Field Trips_. ---

While early Practice was definitely a drama, and late Boston Legal was definitely a comedy, it felt like there was almost a smooth transition through the end of The Practice and into the first two seasons of Boston Legal from one genre to another.
