OMG I hope this is true. I’m so sick of them being shoved down our throats at every turn as the perfect Hollywood couple.
(Oh, and a pox on the first person who comes in and says “yawn” or some equivalent–if it’s not a big deal to you, then don’t post–leave the rest of us shallow celebrity bashers alone! 😉 )

I never thought they were being shoved down our throats as the perfect Hollywood couple. I also though they were being shoved down our throats from the same facination we have with train wrecks and car accidents. Everyone knew it would blow up, the only question was when.
OK, maybe their publicists thought they were the perfect Hollywood couple (they did make nice eye candy toghter), but certainly no one else did.

And here I thought this “delay” of the wedding earlier was just so they could spoof the frenzy of publicity.
Obviously, my powers are fading.

Something about those two brings out the _ **schadenfreude** _ in me!
I didn’t have any money down on the longevity of their match, but suffice to say I didn’t think that J.Lo was going to stop there. She’s probably going to best Elizabeth Taylor for matrimonial records.
As for Ben, he should go back to Gwynneth Paltrow, since they can stand each other’s company, and it’ll get her off my fave band’s lead singer.

I have no sympathy for her at all. She’s shown herself to be a fairly raving nutjob and a possible megalomaniac with her self-obsession over the years. Maybe Ben pulling the pin will finally show her she “ain’t all that”.
Admittedly competent dancer. Not a good singer. Not a good actress. Now she can’t even keep a boy wrapped up. Hopefully that will lend her some perspective and she’ll be crushed enough to retire. If that leads her to a life of quiet contemplation, hey, more’s the better.

Well, I hope you’re happy with yourselves, this is the fault of the public-at-large. I’ll bet problems started when _Gigli_ did poorly and now they’ve broken up! If we would have paid more attention to them, and spent more money on their movie then they would still be together today.
This is tragic.
