You forgot to include “wait for 48 hours to let the NPC restock their money supply” in there. That’s the bigger pain. ---

I’ve gotten through three playthroughs now without really selling anything but ammo and aid. I steal every stimpak around and you find so many in the field I never had to buy them. And ammo and aid (I never use any of the drugs, never found a reason to) is easy weightless cash. I only pick up stuff to repair my own equipment or to give to a companion. ---

Considering how stupid the OFLC acted about having a drug called “Morphine” instead of “Med-X”, they would have _really_ freaked out once they realised you could blow limbs off kids. ---

Originally you could kill kids apparently. At least in the dev stages of the game. There was actually a “Childkiller” reputation status you could achieve. In the end they took the ability to kill children out completely. The icon was the Fallout Avatar guy kicking a pregnant women in the stomach. Seriously. It was on Kotaku this weekend.
