# Spongebob finds a pile of cans in the road

SPONGEBOB: [to cans] Sandy, that has to be your worst disguise EVER!

SANDY: [ofscreen] No it’s not, Spongebob!

[CUT TO Sandy, popping up from behind a hill by the side of the road. She holds up a big cartoony mask of her own face.]

SANDY: This is!

[Big karate fight scene]

For some reason every time I happen to catch Spongebob Squarepants on the tube the same stories are on. As a result, I have only seen three SBSP episodes. The above is from one of them.

That little bit been in my head for, like, a _month_ and it makes me laugh every time. It’s mundane, it’s pointless, it probably loses everything in the transcription if you haven’t seen the actual show. But I just hadda share.

My favorite Spongebob moment is when he asks Sandy if he can hibernate with her. She tells him it’s a mammalian thing, and his response is, “In case you haven’t noticed, Sandy, I am one-hundred percent M-MALE.”

Spongebob is a pretty good guy, but unfortuately, he’s technically out of a job. Creator Steve Hillenberg says he wants to take a break right now, so Spongebob is stopping production-for good, I think. Also, there’s some sort of script writer’s strike over at Nickelodeon, so it doesn’t look very good all around.

That’s just peachy! Just as I learn what a cool 'toon it is it’s going away. Just like SBSP’s more rude predecessor _Ren & Stimpy_.
