**Spongemom** , I got a few things to say. I hope you don’t mind. If you’d rather I drop it, let me know, and I’ll be glad to do so. 1. I stand by what I said in the previous thread: there was good advice buried under some nasty shit. 2. I’m very glad that you’re keeping your cats inside now, and want to offer you some encouragement: they’ll get over it. If you’d like some ideas on how to make the transition a little easier for them, [check out HSUS’s web page on the topic](http://www.hsus.org/pets/pet_care/cat_care/keeping_your_cat_happy_indoors.html). I, for one, support **Spongemom**. I’ve accidently stepped on pets myself, except in my case they were pets that one wouldn’t normally find on the floor. ---
