From what I gather, the evangelizing aspect of World Vision is spotty. There’s probably enough of it to put off many Dopers. However, I also know that WV has been criticized by some Evangelicals as not being evangelistic enough. Only once did I ever do a “sponsorship” thing & that was through a division of my church- the Assembly of God- and I know that was evangelistic, which was part of the reason I did it.
