# Spooks: Code 9 - Any good?

Any of our Brit Dopers watch it? What did you think?

I’m looking forward to a new series of Spooks, but didn’t even know they had this spin off series in the works.

I didn’t even know there was a spin off until I saw an advert for it on a bus. I didn’t see it, the concept sounded lame. (If London has been half destroyed by a nuclear bomb before the show has even started I’m not sure how much faith I have in MI5.)

Not seen it, but this [Guardian blog](http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/tv/2008/08/as_spinoffs_go_spooks_code.html) suggests not.

However, can I take the opportunity to say I stage managed a school play that this [fellow](http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00199/F_200612_december15_199172a.jpg) was in. Lame boast I know, but my only connection to celebrity.
