I once read a book called “British Comedy Sketches”, which I would love get my hands on again, but that’s another thread. All the sketches in the book were written by Peter Cook and/or Dudley Moore. One was called “Sketcherism Spoon”. I can remember only one phrase from it: “The chirds were burping in the trees . . .” ---

There’s an act at Scarbourough Faire called “The Tory Steller” Classic stories and fairy tales done almost completely in spoonerisms. If he comes to your renfest, go see his act.
