With all this talk lately about LeBron James’ and Willis McGahee’s agents getting them good deals, I’ve been wondering-what does it take to become a sports agent? Do they get paid a lot? Looking at a possible career here…🙂

Note that in each sport, agents are limited in how much they can make off of a player’s contract. The percentage is usually about 4%, IIRC.

Of course, agents can bill for other services they provide.
