How about footy… [Australian Rules Football](http://www.afl.com.au) It’s highly probable that there’s an Australian movie, but I can’t find any on a quick google. ---

There’s a local effort, called [Australian Rules](http://www.thefilmpie.com/Reviews2002/zz-australianrules.html) that was released in 2002. I’d never heard of it until I searched for it. I doubt that it was a major success (except possibly in Melbourne). ---

[ul] [li]F1 racing[/li][li]Pole vaulting[/li][li]Long jump[/li][li]Speed skating[/li][li]Water skiing[/li][li]Javelin[/li][li]Discus[/li][/ul] And I _know_ there’s no movie about [HPV racing](http://www.wisil.recumbents.com/wisil/hpra.htm) (human-powered vehicle racing, which usually means recumbent bicycles). ---
