Spotted a young Jewish woman and her child (both mother and child looked very Jewish, her husband looked Jewish too but I can only be 95% certain) at Trader Joe, she was shuffling through the merchandise to look for the item with the latest expiration date. I know this because she even explained herself to her daughter saying, “mommy is looking for the latest date.” When she picked out her item, unfortunately, she just left the mess there without rearranging the items. I can understand what she’s doing, I mean if there are a few items in front that have obviously been tampered with or damn near expired, I will push it aside and take something a little bit further back. I will put things back in order though. I bet this is one of the perennial annoyances for management and employees at Super Markets. I think even the movie Clerks observed as much. Finally, one can argue that she’s just fighting back against store policy which is to sell you the item with the earliest expiration. It’s a constant back and forth. Speaking for myself, almost everyone who annoys me on a day-to-day basis is Jewish. Telemarketers? Jews. Noisy kids outside my window at 1 AM? Jews. Overly chatty taxi drivers? Jeeeews. All of them. True story. ---
