Since I received the first 4 seasons of _Ironside_ on DVD for Christmas (a little early), I’ve been binge-watching. William Shatner has shown up twice, first as a convict whose wife is murdered while he’s in prison, then as a parole officer who gets shot at in the street–by one of his parolees, he says. Since Eve Whitfield (Barbara Anderson) was also Kodos’s loopy daughter in “The Conscious of the King,” that makes her brief scenes with Shatner just a little more fun. Walter Koenig has also appeared once, selling PCP-laced tobacco to schoolkids. ---

Riley shut off the engines, they went cold and could not be started without warming up the anti-matter first, which takes a half hour but they only had three minutes until they burned up in the atmosphere. Or some such. ---
