Voyager crewman Lon Suder (Brad Dourif) plays psychos in numerous other places, including Babylon Five and The Lord of the Rings / The Two Towers. I’ve always speculated that he’s probably the nicest, sanest guy in the world in real life. Then again, playing crazies seems to run in the family (see daughter Fiona, in Dirk Gently’s Wholistic Detective Agency), so I dunno :). ---

Elizabeth Dennehy, memorable as the ambitious Cmdr. Shelby, played a preschool teacher in the sf drama _Gattaca_, which I just saw. I caught an episode of _The Six Million Dollar Man_ the other night and was pretty sure I saw John de Lancie in a very small role. His name wasn’t in the credits, and he wasn’t even listed as “uncredited” on IMDb, but the Bionic Wiki confirms it was him. ---

That episode (1973) was directed by her father, Boris Segal. ---

As another aside, Gwyneth’s cousin Hillary Danner was in the 2001 episode “Murder with Too Many Notes.” I realize it’s a matter of personal taste, but she’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.
