In an aside, there have been some other interesting guest stars on both _ **St Elsewhere** _ and _ **Hill Street Blues** _ lately: Michael “Cosmo Kramer” Richards as an investigative journalist on _ **SE** _. Louise “Mary Hartman” Lasser as “Victor Ehrlich’s ditzy aunt Charise” on _ **SE** _. Meg Tilly (“Chloe” in _ **The Big Chill** _) as a hooker in _ **HSB** _. She would later have another role in the series, in which she gets whacked by The Mob. John “Cliff Cleven” Ratzenberger as a fake cop/shakedown artist on _ **HSB** _. Eric Laneuville, “likeable orderly (and later EMR) Luther Hawkins” on _ **SE** _, as a stone-cold killer on _ **HSB** _. I’ve seldom seen an actor play two such different roles so convincingly. ---

This is my best one. Leonard Nimoy in the\* Highway Patrol \*episode,[Hot Dust](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0827322/), 1957. Nimoy is a “kid” moving radioactive material, drops it off a scaffold, and is exposed to it. I haven’t seen all the episode, but I doubt that nictitating membranes will save him. ---
