# Sprained ankles: medical information, treatments and how to stop getting them?

What specalties would one typically see for this sort of thing? Orthopedist? physiatrist? either? (I’ll be discussing these very issues with my primary care doc this week and seeking her guidance… and NOT taking “walk more carefully” for an answer this time).
