Hm, I should have clarified the statement. But, I’ll take the hugs, if you don’t mind. I like hugs.😃 It was made in reference to \*\*FCM’s \*_comment about having to vacuum. You know, sometimes you just don’t want to face the drudgery that comes with being an adult, but you go ahead and take care of it, because well, you’re an adult. Sheesh, that convoluted. I didn’t think I had_ that \*much to drink last night. All is well here. My daughter and her boyfriend called while I was in the shower, and they’re going to come down here and pay us a visit. We’ve decided we’ll take them to dinner; our treat. ---

I want, nay need, that tshirt! It’s just so jakely jake! I made coleslaw for the fish fry tomorrow. Go me. OK, so I dumped a bag of premix in a bowl, chopped up a little onion to throw in and mixed up a dressin’ of mayo, cider vinegar and sugar. Easy dressin’, btw. A pint of mayo, two tablespoons of cider vinegar and a teaspoon of sugar. It’s kinda sweet/sour and great for coleslaw. Plus I had a nap. I think I shall bug OYKW (he’s at his place doin’ laundry) and convince him we should go swipe General Tso’s dindin and do ummm… sump’n else. 😉 ---

I am dreading getting up in the dark tomorrow morning! And then having to leave in the dark - I had gotten right used to it being light when I leave. Ah well. Made some chili in the crock pot today and substituted hot Italian sausage for ground beef. I then put in not one but -two- cans of rotel tomatoes in there. It’s a -bit- spicy! But tasty nonetheless. 🙂 Will be served with plenty of cheese and sour cream, as well as brown rice. At least I didn’t add more chile peppers to it, right? ---

I feel better–sometimes I think I have emotional ADD. I made chicken for dinner. It was good. I also sorted out some clothes to go to Salvation Army and colored my hair (I’m blonde again) and ironed and did 2 more loads of laundry. I also walked around out back and picked up stray trash. And changed the sheets on our bed because I put my foot through the bottom sheet last night while I was asleep (and woke up because my foot was stuck!). :eek: So we need new King sheets. Luckily I have a coupon for Bed, Bath and Beyond. and now off to watch Star Trek. It was a good day–very productive. ---

Back from OYKW’s place. Instead of swipin’ General Tso’s dindin, I picked up some bbq sammiches cause OYKW said he was in the mood for some. So we had bbq sammiches and a little, ummm… “dessert”. 'Twas nice. 😃 Ok, I guess I have to do this, so… **StickyBuns** young lady, have you finished writing that paper yet? No? I didn’t think so. Well, you just march yourself right in there and get busy. The sooner you start the sooner you finish. Not another word until you are finished. I mean it! Don’t give me that look! Do you want your face to freeze like that?!! I said get busy! Whew! I need a drink! ---

I finally got my room cleaned up so I can walk in here. Reorganized my books too so there’s no longer a danger of them falling on my head. I’m thinking of ordering a pizza for dinner, especially since so many places are having specials. ---
