Most of us know that the critically acclaimed but short-lived TV series starred a young, nerdish Sarah Jessica Parker, and another actress as two misfit high school friends. And that SJP has gone on to fame and fortune by playing Carrie Bradshaw in _Sex And The City_. But who was the other actress, the one who played her friend? What became of her? ---

According to her [IMDB profile](http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0512921/), Amy Linker, she’s done next to squat since _Square Pegs_. A bit of TV work, one movie, but nothing in the past 20 years. Although I’d imagine a good portion of her time may be spent cutting the eyes out of magazine photos of SJP, muttering “it should’ve been me…it should’ve been me…” ---

Ahh. . .but Muffy Tipperman (Jamie Gertz) is in a new sitcom (Still Standing I believe it is called) and has done some feature films – most notably Lost Boys — so Amy could be developing a complex over it, or she just found something she was more interested in doing with her life than acting. ---
