My truck was squeegied while I was in Seattle last summer. I shook my head no but he went ahead and started cleaning my windshield anyway. Just as he got done with the drivers side, the light turned green and I left. He hollered at me but there was nothing he could do. Two blocks later I was on I-5 heading south. I have an idea for a squeegie guy deterent. I would hook up a second windshield washer pump and tank under the hood. I would use a foot activated switch to work it. And direct the output towards the sides of the car just in front of the windshield. I would fill it with something nasty smelling, old piss, cheap perfume, etc. Someone starts to clean my windshield when I say no, let them have it. ---

I heard of a fellow that would ask the squeegie scum to clean the -back- window, but “not quite yet”. The driver would watch the light, and time his request so that as soon as the squeegie guy started, the light would change, and the car would take off. Those squeegie guys suck. ---

Pepper spray. I just shake my head. If the guy approaches anyway, I roll down the window and hold the unit out. Only had to use it twice. ---
