If you want a harmless substitute, try “jerry-built”, or simply “shoddy.” We’ve gone through this dance before, and there wasn’t evidence (outside of Sgt. Rock comic books) that “jerry-built” was a jab at wartime Germany. 😉 ---

It would have been nice if my mother married some guy named Squibb when she married for the 2nd time. But no, she married a drunkard named Boozer. That the name on her grave marker too. I covered it with black tape the last time I went to the cemetary. ---

Many of us, including me BTW, are old enough to have gone to school way back when mongoloid, negroid and caucasoid were presented as legitimate racial classes and when mongoloid was an common term for the mentally handicapped. We didn’t just learn about it from a friend in Australia. ---
