I’m sure bupropion (which is what your link points to) is the bee’s knees, but it ain’t [citalopram](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citalopram), which is what I’m on now and is a different Rx as I understand.

:smack: Yup, you’re right. Substitute “Wellbutrin” for “citalopram” in my original post to get the correct reading. Wellbutrin is a brand name that bupropion is often sold under. Citalopram (aka Celexa and its daughter drug Lexapro) is a different drug entirely, in fact it’s the one that most of the people in this thread have been complaining about.

No. I stopped cold turkey, which sucked for a week (I got the ocu-shocks).

I learned that I could orgasm with difficulty when an SSRI made me anorgasmic. But it hurt immensely. But I did it anyway, more than once. I may have damaged my prostate somehow.

I quit the drugs and didn’t look back. For me, being on such a drug meant worrying about how the drug was screwing with my perceptions and moods. I felt better off them in general, and having my urinary tract back to near normal was good in particular (though I think I had a weaker stream for a long time after the experience).

I wish that was an option for me but unfortunately it isn’t at the time. ☹ I know that when I go off the meds the ability returns but right now I’d have to choose having stable moods over being able to orgasm. Even though I miss orgams like crazy. Damn.
