# St. Patrick's Day dinner

The boxty recipe I have also throws in some wheat flour to make a large pancake or perhaps the Irish version of a tortilla. Jewish potato latkes are close. You can put any filling in it you want, not just leftovers. It’s really going upscale now.

Who’s to say what’s regulation. Good food is good food and this one is Irish in origin even if chef’s tweak it all to heck.

Wow, I didn’t know people had dinners to celebrate Saint Patricks Day. To me its always been as uneventful as “Tree Day” or " Groundhog Day".
