So far we’re stocking up on chili, bean burritos, and the best baked beans ever. I guess we’re planning on recreating that scene from _Blazing Saddles_. ---

I sent this out in the e-mail, but I’ll bring a key lime pie or two. Store bought, of course. You all would not want to try my first ever attempt to make one. It’s a shame there’s no way to reheat anything we bring. I make some seriously kick-ass jambalaya. ---

I waited till the last minute, hoping I could make it. This lady and her pies won’t be able to show up, I’m very sorry. The pollen in the air for the last 2 weeks has messed me up beyond belief, I can’t go outside for any period of time without risking more problems, and I can’t call in sick to work anymore (this year anyways). Heh, if I had a bubble, I could be the SDMB Girl in a Bubble and show up. Have fun everyone! ---

**Kuizelemartz** I’ve got dusts masks that I can bring from work if you are interested. Should keep the pollen out. I’ll be showing up with my spawn in tow. He just turned ten. Anyone else bringing their kids? I hope so because if not I may not show up. I wouldn’t want him to be the only kid there all bored with nothing to do. ---

No kids of my own, but maybe we could toss a frisbee on the beach or something. I think there are volleyball nets down there, too - perhaps we could all play… Anyone have a frisbee or volleyball? 🙂 ---

**Ludovic** , of course you can come. I added you to the mailing list. So, October 15th, 2:00 pm, Ft. DeSoto, look for the kind-of-shiny red Dodge with Colorado plates. When I know what pavillion, I’ll try to let everyone know. Bring food, and plates and cutlery, and…um, other stuff that is fun. I apologize if I keep emailing people who have already said they can’t make it, I put you all on one mailing list and it’s too difficult to look up all the emails and take them out before I send it.
