Surely we’ve all seen him in StarGates SG-1, Atlantis and Universe?
I’ll admit it - and what’s more, I think he did well on those shows. More or less just reprising his Voyager character, of course (the bureaucrat with the heart of gold), but he does his thing with skill. In fact, one of the things I liked about his role in the SG-verse was that when he spoke out against military control of the stargate program, he actually came across as an intelligent, principled man articulating a position he’d thought deeply about. A rare bit of nuance for a character that would ordinarily be just a cardboard strawman for the heros of the show to evade or foil.
Good actor, as evidenced by his roles on better shows than Voyager. He’s surprisingly charismatic and funny.
I was gonna mention China Beach as well.
