# Stabbed in the back by a coworker!!

Then I suggest that on your next break, tell the boss that you’re going to step out to the off-property garage to verify that the guns in your car are properly locked up.

The more of the following apply, the better this works:

- The garage is on-property, or there is no garage.
- You don’t own guns.
- You don’t drive to work, and the boss knows it.

Your performance review? And you’re going to muddy it with some references to this other person and how much better you are? That just sounds sleazy.

Is it possible Asshole felt like they needed to step up and write the instructions since they heard them firsthand, and clearly worked late doing something they felt was their responsibility? Or even maybe thought they were taking the work off your list (a good thing)?
