Entirely apart from the prison sentence, I’m surprised that there are people here who think he should keep his scholarship. Even if he never saw a day inside an actual prison, at the very least that scholarship should go to someone who’s not a felon.

No, hitting or slapping someone **once** could be a moment of uncontrolled anger. Beating someone up and dragging her by the hair is deliberate and controlled.
