Better bump that Save Enterprise thread back into action so people will have something to do over the rerun period. Damn and blast UPN and Moonves…They’re going to put on **Game Over** and bring back **The Mullets** , before ENT at 9pm, starting next week. Yeesh. And I suppose they’re still working on their confounded Amish reality show. Idjits. ---

They have a lot in common, both being captains with a lousy sense of duty. Archer seem to miss that a captain’s duty to his ship means a heck of a lot more than just a willingness to die for it. I wish there had been scene where Trip had said to Archer, “Captain, I don’t give a damn how guilty you feel about what you’ve had to do. It’s not your life to throw away on this mission. A captain doesn’t get that luxury. It’s your duty to continue to make those tough decisions, to lead the men and women on this ship. And if you can’t handle that, you never should have taken the job to begin with.” ---

I just finished watching this episode about an hour, hour and a half ago, and it was great. It’s possibly the best episode of the series that I’ve seen and it had me on the edge of my seat at the end even though I knew what was going to happen due to this thread. Really, the only thing I had a problem with was T’Pol crying and I’m _really_ hoping (and starting to think that maybe it will be true) that she’s been poisoned by Terellium-D or is somehow being more affected by the Delphic Expanse than the humans on board. Berman and Braga are actually showing some intelligence in these later episodes and I admit I’m really getting drawn in. If they can somehow keep this up, Enterprise will actually surpass TNG as my second favorite Trek series. Yeah, you read that right. Oh, and before I forget: did anyone else notice that Daniels included the Klingons in the 25th Century Federation? I had to rewind and watch it again when he said that because of the double take I did when he said it. I’ve read a lot of fiction (both fan and Paramount released) that has the Klingons eventually joining the ranks of the UFP but to hear it on a series and thus have it mad canon was just … really, \*really \* cool. Also, 25th Century aesthetics really suck. That was an ugly ship and what the hell was up with the \*Dune \* still suit that Daniels was wearing? ---

It occurs to me that my previous post might make it seem like I didn’t like the episode. That would not be true. I did enjoy it and am very much looking forward to the resolution of the cliffhanger. However, I agree with **Aesiron**. (Take note, **Aes**. I’m publicly stating that I agree with you.) They better come up with a good reason why T’Pol was acting like she was acting. And I don’t consider “she was upset” to be a good reason for a Vulcan to act like that. ---
