Re: beaming down the redshirts without checking ahead… human beings can survive in vacuum for at least a little while; why not beam them back on the double? ---

I believe they didn’t realize it until they were already dead. I was a bit surprised they didn’t beam them back for a proper funeral. I think that’s why Kirk doesn’t get one. (Well, that, and he’s [still alive](http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Kirk). Now that there will be no more official work in the prime universe, I consider the novels canon.) ---

I’d like to know what happened to The Borg after Endgame. Janeway mentioned them in Nemesis, but that’s the last we heard of them. ---
