I saw it pointed out online that some of the signage on Rios’ ship has changed from the Confederation back to the Federation (specifically they each had a different Medical symbol and it changed from C to F). Don’t know if that was a production mistake or an intentional sign they are making progress healing the timeline. ---

I have stopped caring who the Borg Queen will be. Honestly, this is all incredibly silly now. But I’ll see it through. Also, John DeLancie remains highly entertaining. Thank god _something_ in this series is. ---

Like I’ve said, I haven’t watched. But I have watched clips and read synopsi. I enjoy what i see, and in addition to what you all have said…I think Spiner is doing a bang-up job. ---

I’m torn on this episode - I think it was a bit better than the previous one - We learned quite a few new things about soong, about a song and that soong was wrong all along. We’re likely seeing the beginnings of the eugenics war. I loved Picard’s speach to Picard. If the divergence happened here/now - is it because Q went back to make the divergence happen? I kinda liked the interplay between Queen and Jiradi - I also got bored with it fast. I dislike any episode of any series that starts off with a “34 minutes earlier” title. But I really disliked the bit where Laris wants to get inside Picard’s head to pull him out - that can’t mean good things for the next episode. ---

“Going around the outside will get us there the quickest.” Holy fucking cow, that is some clunky exposition. Does anyone speak Romulan? Tallinn says something alien-y when she’s checking her iPhone to see that Q is manipulating Renee and then Picard seems to notice. Her looking/sounding like Laris hasn’t been explained yet, right? And apparently, Kore had never once googled her father or read one of the 87 million mentions of him on the internet? WTF? ---
